The night after my daughter was diagnosed with osteosarcoma–a rare form of bone cancer–Andy was on the phone with me late at night, preparing me for the conversation we would have with the orthopedic oncologist.

He talked me through what to expect and what questions I should ask, as well as how to get our daughter into treatment as quickly as possible.  His advice was absolutely correct and allowed us to feel confident that the best decision, given the options nearby, was to start chemo locally right away while looking for the best surgical options when the time came.

Thanks to his guidance and network, we have received excellent care during chemo and also found a surgical option that far exceeds what most of our doctors were even aware of initially.  Having his input, expertise, and support in getting our daughter’s care right was absolutely invaluable.  I would recommend him to anyone facing the uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis.

Andi Hubschmann, M.D.

The day I found out I had metastatic breast cancer was the worst day of my life. The next two weeks were like a bad dream filled with sadness and fear of the unknown. I visited at least 10 doctors in the early days of my diagnosis.

My cousin connected me with Dr. Knight as I tried to decide my treatment course.

Dr. Knight is compassionate and thoughtful. He helped me weigh the pros and cons of each decision. He presented the research on these topics but also the limitations of that research. As an independent observer, he was able to give me an unbiased opinion. Dr. Knight was never part of my treatment team, and that allowed us to have honest conversations about what was important to me and what implications certain decisions might have. Dr Knight gave me confidence that I made informed decisions to the best of my ability.

I will always be able to tell my boys that I exhausted every possibility in choosing a treatment course and that allows me to sleep at night. Finally, Dr. Knight gave me hope that I will do well for a long time, and that allows me to live each day!

As a parent of a two-time Ewing Sarcoma survivor, I can attest to the profound impact of Dr. Knight's medical knowledge and responsive guidance during our family's pediatric oncology journey.

Dr. Knight adeptly guided us through the intricate landscape of treatment options and empowered us to make informed decisions. He provided a thorough understanding of the effectiveness and potential long-term effects of various treatment options as we navigated cancer centers across the United States, while safeguarding our child’s emotional integrity.

Moreover, Dr. Knight played an instrumental role in guiding us through clinical trials for relapsed disease and benefits and limitations of emerging therapeutic strategies.

Dr. Knight's extensive experience, coupled with his unwavering support and empathy, greatly alleviated our concerns and uncertainties. We attribute much of our resilience to his ongoing support.

I have worked with Andy both as a hedge fund analyst on complex issues within biotechnology, as well as regarding a family medical issue.  As an advisor, Andy has a rare combination of strengths: clarity and depth of analysis, objectivity, and empathy.  He is also an excellent communicator and very conscientious.
